To access the API, you must have a Business account at a monthly cost of $222.80. This account automatically includes 10 eZsign users and 100 completed folders per month via the API.

What is a folder?

A folder groups together one or more documents to be signed. You can include multiple files and signers in it; billing is done per folder, not per individual document. The Enterprise API plan includes 100 completed API folders per month, whether they come from an integration, a bulk send or a shared link. You can create as many as you like; beyond the 100 monthly API folders, additional folders are billed according to the table below.

Bulk send allows you to have the same document signed by multiple people in just a few clicks. Each recipient receives their own personalized copy, with their name and information.

For example, you can send a consent form to 200 employees in a single operation. eZsign automatically creates 200 separate folders and tracks each signature individually.

A shared link allows you to make a document available for signing via a simple web link, without needing to know the signers’ email addresses in advance.

For example, you can publish a registration form on your website or intranet. Each person who clicks on the link gets a unique version of the document to complete and sign. eZsign automatically creates a new folder for each submission, with full tracking.

We only count a document (PDF, Word, etc.) when it is fully signed by all parties; that’s the moment when it triggers billing.
